Ripe cardamom fruits are hand picked every 45 to 60 days.The fruits
are collected from the farm each day, cleaned thoroughly first in
clean water with small quantities of washing soda dissolved in it and
subsequently in clean water alone.It is then kept in sieved containers
for draining of water.After that it is dried in automatic drier where
no human contact is required.
After drying for approximately 18 to 22
hours under controlled pre set temperatures the dried seeds are taken
out for removal of flower residues,loose seeds and skins in a
polishing machine.The end product is taken out after polishing and
stored in plastic lined gunny bags.
